2010 › CIF › BFA (Visual Arts) My practice is currently engaged with exploring what drawing might mean as both a conceptual and formal method to approach art practice in the expanded field of contemporary art. I am primarily concerned with engaging with and developing a form of internal logic around drawing as a process that has been directed by my own history and relationship to it. This particular focus has been to understand drawing not just as a system of communication and a complex network of visual codes, but to explore the act of drawing as a kind of conversation that concerns form, information and what I call the inarticulate, or the indeterminate. In addition, I am interested in articulating drawing as a space for orientating other ideas and forms, and how these further translate into other media.
