Carla O’Donnell investigates the relation between form and the body. Exploring simple geometric shapes, the garments in this collection each grew out of experimentation with boxes of various shapes and sizes. While some garments remain faithful to the shapes comprising the boxes, having been formed by re-folding, others have been created by manipulating, cutting into, adding to and subtracting from the original shapes.
