I made this film over the course of 2007 as part of my final year doing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an animation major. The film was primarily made using Autodesk Maya and Adobe After Effects.

My goal was to tell a story of freedom and the dilemma of chasing an impossible dream. Visually, I drew on some of the ideas of past Expressionist films such as Nosferatu and Metropolis and combined them with lo-fi digital distortions to create an appropriate and interesting vessel for the story.
