Judy-Ann MouleInside Out
|
2008 › CIF › BFA (Visual Arts) This installation considers that place between inside and outside, where two things touch – the interface between self and the outside world. The woven wire vessel punctured with elongated plastic shapes hangs inertly in dialogue with images playing on a monitor. The vessel explores that transitional space, while the body, half in – half out, like semaphore, expresses desire in absence of text or the spoken word.
