The aiBall is an exploration of telepresence, within which our definition is the exploration of virtualised interactions with people over long distances. Imagine being able to 'walk' around the lake with your partner even though you are in another city, or play with your family dog while you are on vacation away from home?

A simple array of sensors, intuitive gestural control and discrete touch feedbacks combine with wireless technology to afford an entirely new way of exploring and enriching peoples' relationships with each other when they cannot physically be together.
