Inspired by the femme fatales of espionage, dark streets of Paris and flawlessness of couture, I worked to create a collection that transports the spectator into a world where extremes come together in harmony.
In spirit of couture, a combination of contrasting textiles and skins were used to achieve the desired effect. The result was unconventional - a collection in which flamenco-style pigskin suede skirt appears whispery, worn with georgette, backless top. Custom-cut deerskin suede sequins shield a silhouette dressed in a panelled silk-satin-georgette gown. Piping on the same gown and military, high waist trousers place emphasis on a feminine shape, while a hand-embroidered silk top and organza cape work as accents of refined elegance. Curvy pieces highlight a more womanly beauty, as illustrated in a blue silk panel dress with pockets hidden by seam lines, and in a corset-style linen skirt-suit, featuring French lace, peek-a-boo hem and hand crafted snakeskin doilies.

A play of hidden volumes and seamless necklines is also present in the silk organza overcoat for a collection that relies on lines and shape to achieve sensual, modern elegance.
