2008 › BEE › Graduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture The design has resonated from the ground up and diversity has been sought by introducing different land use types including light industrial, commercial, residential and pocket parks, taking into consideration connections both visual and physical into the context as well as exploring the introduction of the alleyway (as a characteristic typology that already exists in Wooloongabba) and the effects that this can have on experiencing diversity within the block. At the detailed scale, it primarily explores the implications of the different servicing needs of each different use type, the interfaces of the use types and the negotiation between vehicles and pedestrians who will access the alleyways.
