This final year architectural design project entitled “Rebuilding the High Street” identified three vacant sites on Brunswick Street New Farm Brisbane, as a location in need of an architectural intervention. The project proposed on one site, to respectfully reuse the heritage listed Rivoli Theatre as a community centre accommodating three tenants, a Public Library, Neighbourhood Centre, and a Jazz Club. Another site was designed as an idealised natural landscape and serving as a public park, with a street frontage being a Tea House. The third site proposed a mixed use development with retail, café, and six townhouses above.
