The house will embrace the outside experience with minimal interior barriers using a concept, “Boundary integration.” To response to the concept, especially two boundary elements were explored. ‘Private and Public space’ and ‘Exterior and Interior space.‘ A courtyard and stackable openings are the key element for the transition. They intend to be “open plan” and “modernized conventional building form.” Open planning will comfortably integrated into the tranquil landscape. The cottage incorporates a courtyard as a medium element of in and out, and angled decks clinch more views as a gazebo. All openings oriented towards the views. Numerous pulled up and pivot sliding doors allow clear views and cross ventilation however, in winters, the house will be fully closed from the outside even from the courtyard…
