Many children suffer from psychiatric disorders as a direct result of the death of a parent or caregiver. A child’s ability to cope with life after loss is directly influenced by the interaction and understanding of their surviving parent.

The aim of this project was to design a device that helped children communicate their thoughts to their surviving parent or caregiver. Furthermore, to allow observation of children’s responses to stimulus based on their past and present life experiences and memories. The device achieves these goals by providing a catalyst for communication through three separate categories of images.
