I often wonder what happened to the kid that smoked Marlborough Reds in primary school. He seemed damn cool then. But now maybe things have changed. Ken Nordine tells the story of an aging young rebel on the DJ Food track of the same name.

Like DJ Food collecting, re-interpreting and recombining sound samples to construct his music, this short film is made in very much the same way. Archival footage, school year books and computer-generated imagery are all stitched together to create a multi-dimensional montage. The Aging Young Rebel is my answer to what could of have happened to that rebellious kid in primary school.
