Two Beat Tremble

2007CIFBFA (Fashion)

Two Beat Tremble is a brand new label with its arms and legs all for ethical and environmentally sustainable fashion. The label’s creators: Kelly Elkin and Betony Dircks have recently graduated from Bachelor of Fine Arts (Fashion Design) at QUT, Brisbane. Two Beat Tremble aims to merge conscientious fashion with artistic, challenging clothing.

The 2007 transeasonal collection entitled “The Chance Configuration” is comprised of unusually shaped streetwear, night-time gear and everything in between in blue, green, grey and black with the occasional splash of red-almost-orange. Fabrics in the range include the earth-nurturing bamboo jersey, certified organic cotton and soybean terry.

So hello, hello outrageous brain children, it is time to explode the insincere, and watch the demise of unfair labour of sweatshop workers whilst celebrating the chaotic and marvellous colour schemes, fabric forms and abra-cadabra prints of Two Beat Tremble.
